Ok another little update!
Again I've failed at keeping upto date so it's actually another fairly large one! Haha

I decided to sort of my manifold as the bam injectors my Ecu is mapped for don't normally fit in a agu manifold....
I had to trim 12mm off of the manifold to allow the rail to sit lower so the injectors were flush inside.

I then painted the manifold on graphite and test fitted it just to see how it looked!

I then had a day of fitting my old intercooler and a vr6/g60 kit from darkside to my mates car.
We sort of had a little golf meet going off!

Another day another job.
I set about modifying the bam injectors to fit in the agu seats as the shoulders catch and stop them going all the way in.

Better

I was then going to fit my new seats and get them all fitted but when I opened the box I found tps had given me aum seats instead of agu ones doh!
So I got bored and slightly polished my fuel rail haha.

Next step was ting the crash bar for the intercooler and then also test fitting the bumper and making any adjustments and marking where I need to cut for the pipework to run!

That then brings is to today!
Got my new injector seats and then got busy!
Fitted the injectors and fuel rail.

Painted a few more bits including the fpr, brackets, coolant pipe etc.

Painted and fitted then throttle body.

Stripped the alternator, power steering pump and mount off my old engine.

Fitted my mocal sandwich plate...

Painted the power steering pump, alternator, tensioner and them fitted them with the new non a/c belt.

That's it for now!
Not really a plan for what next just gonna get out there and think of what to do ok the spot haha.

Interesting you had to modify the injectors.  Mine went in no issue, just used 'hats' to space them up over.

What coils you running on the me7.5 stuff?

Did the sit flush with the seat inside?
I had to trip them as I cut the manifold to allow them to sit lower

Engine is looking good :afro:

Do you have anything to remove/fit the injector seats or did you just leave yours in place?

Cheers dom!
Yeah I've got a gearbox plug tool that fits!
I've got a spare set of aum seats if you need some?
