Replacement alloy wheels

I've seen them and they're not a bad price tbh. I would like some Pretorias but don't fancy shelling out ~£2k

And judging by the experience of some of the R owners with Pretorias over on VWROC forum, they seem quite susceptible to buckling if you’re unfortunate enough to hit a pothole (and not necessarily a big pothole). Expensive if you need to replace a damaged one at around £800 each!

They do look incredible though!

That's the only thing putting me off, loads have said they're made of chocolate

I've had to replace 2 pretorias at £1500
Lovely looking wheels but not worth that kind of money.
I ended up buying winter wheels and tyres just to try and avoid any pothole disasters.

Would the 18'' Pretoria look alike not be stronger than the 19'' wheel ?

How about the 18" gtd wheels with tyres 200 miles from new and as new, north yorkshire off a mk7.5 £1000 all in

Just look at any 7.5 gtd with the standard alloys.
