Garden Flowers

Trying to get out with the camera a bit more and learn a bit more too, especially some extra processing bits, to keep away from staying with one style...dunno if it works as well as it should, but i'm quite happy with it.  :smiley:

While it's technically a good photo, well lit, nicely exposed, the orange working well with the dark background, etc. The composition does nothing for me. The flower on the left is pointing at the camera, but the one on the right is pointing away. Neither one is the focus of the photo because they are both in focus.
I would either separate the flowers so that one of them is the sole focus of the photo or change your angle and make your depth of field narrower so that the other flower is out of focus a bit.

Keep shooting, it's the best way to improve.
