Smoked the lower half of my tail lights courtesy of an overlay kit from Grafixpressions.com and fitted Skoda Yeti tailpipes.

Really pleased with how the lights turned out.

Fitted my rear badge overlay from Klii Motorwerkes. I had originally had one of their inlay rear badge inserts fitted but part of it came off while jet washing a while ago , so i decided to fit a full overlay this time around as its a far better job.
Only trouble with this is it involves splitting the chrome VW badge from the remaining part of the rear handle , and ive cracked mine in removing it.

So my option is do i go for a genuine new chrome one , or go for a gloss black or carbon fibre one instead?

Decisions decisions...

They are paint matched to the body colours available in the range , so they black that they do is called Deep Black Pearl Metallic.

Badge looks smart and adds a surprising amount of character to the car. Don't like that plate, though!

The metro font is popular over here in Northern Ireland although im thinking of changing them. The problem is the letter J looks very close to the number 1 on the plate even though it is properly spaced.
Im toying with the idea of pressed metal plates with standard font , or 3D gel plates.
I have the standard dealer plates in my shed for MOT time anyway.

How much were the badges and what was fitting like? My back one especially is looking a bit worse for wear so might look into it. I wonder how the black looks on Tornado Red.

Today I replaced the blown fuse for my headlight washers so those are working now. I also fitted one of those Skoda washer fluid funnel things to the washer bottle. Mostly a novelty, but should make filling the washer bottle a bit easier.
