Not keen on the 19" wheel designs - too fussy.  Having seen enough pictures and video of the standard 18" wheels on the GTI, I think they look fine now.  But, I still think they should have cut separate left and right sides - hardly like it takes any more machining!

Also I wonder what effect the 19" has on type costs anyone know?  I assume the lower profile bumps the cost up a bit.

Yes, the 18" are around 130 fitted, 19" are about 185 for decent makes (Michelin / Bridgestone / Conti etc).
