Hit a sore point mentioning CGTI i guess ..

Im not hiding the fact i know fack all about this race series, but ill be honest, i have no intention or desire to find out about it either.. point is that car probably is no better than some of the work carried out by the people over on CGTI  (even you have not dared to say otherwise with you saying possibly)

It was built in 1997... things have progressed since then?  am i right or am i wrong ??

if I'm wrong, fair one.. less of the sh!t attitude tho..  because nobody really cares fella

Im ignorant and I'm going to reiterate* how ignorant I am and outline how lazy I am in making my ignorant comments, too.

You really are.

Less of the ignorant, dimwitted attitude tho, because if you didn't care you'd keep your mouth shut and not point out how ignorant you are.

The use of the term *possibly* was an ironic one.

It's not surprising you didn't get that, it was irony.

This next bit is not irony, just in case you're wondering:

None of the clutter being waved around on CGTI is touring car spec.  It does not compare with this car, the engine of which was built last year.  If you actually read the comment posted on the video and understood anything about race cars you'd understand that the motor's less than a year old build, not something built in 1997 - that was the date of the shell, you plank.

Foot bath, now, don't inhale.

*that means repeat
Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.

I think your just talking absolute ball bags TBH

Even the owner does not not know the true power.. now he can't be that serious can he..

there cars on CGT that piss all over this... even my Golf 3 has more power

Lets all just be honest for a moment.. its not really special is it...

even my Golf 3 has more power

turbo lump makeing more power than an NA lump that a bloody big supriese isn't it now.

doing what it's built for i expect it'd leave your car in it's naturaly asperated dust, in fact id bet on it.

as far as turbo cars go theres no shortage of stuff with more power theres a few outside but i wouldn't put the documents down against beating a VLN  car even if it is a mk3 golf,  on the ring with any of them,  but i'd think all bar the passat would have your golf

I think he is so good because he knows the track well.. There are some corners i thought he would boot it on but didn't don't know whether lack of grip or still learning the track.. I understood the car was a 1997 motor lol.. That engine must of had a lot of work itb and standalone can push 200bhp set up right but that last 40 must of been hard to achieve.. You can see the power by the sheer acceleration out of corners which a novice with a turbo wouldn't be good at because of spooling...

All in all a great car and had a lot of money spent on it to do that day in day out its no show car function before form and a mk3 is a cheap shell to replace if he prangs it..
Mk4 Golf GTI anniversary and mk6 golf tdi :)

To have 100BHP± over standard on a NA motor is quite spectacular im my uneducated-in-race-engines eyes.

I'd guess that circa 240hp seems about right from the videos. Certainly looks quick enough in a straight line for a naturally aspirated lump.

I love the clip at the start of the vid of the SLS slamming on the anchors behind him
