Sveed 1.8T very kinda gave me his cream handbrake for nothing (sleeve and actual unit as well) to tie in with my new black and cream theme thing I got going on but quick question do I actually have to remove the whole handbrake to swap as I swear when my mate swapped my original 1.4 plastic one to the black leather one he just pressed a catch somewhere, it just slipped off and he replaced it. Dont want to go through all the agg. of removing the centre console when theres nothing wrong with my handbrake I just want to change the sleeve?
