Stunning shots!

You are very brave putting your camera on that rig - I really want to try it now, but I'd be beyond gutted if my worthless Mk3 crushed my camera.

bravery is part of it plus after doing my research the rig i got is one of the sturdiest ;) just got to make sure you have got plenty of space to play with hahah

Well your shots are wicked - really crisp and punchy. I love the way the camera distorts reality with long exposure. You'll have to show us some more with your new R32 (of which I am not at all jealous ). You're lucky in your line of work - at least you don't have to cajole the car into smiling  (I deal with brides and babies  :lipsrsealed:)

Ah well - you won't be able to juice up the R32 when you're on start-up 'tog wages mwahhahahaha  You'll end up spending every penny on kit & advertising.

Have you thought about selling to picture libraries? Your work is the sort of stuff they love. BAPLA might be a good place to start, here's a list of the motoring/car libraries

http://www.bapla.org.uk/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=15&Itemid=44&favm=155

Pay is pants - but the upside is it will look attractive on your cv to art directors at ad agencies & magazines in terms of getting in future commissioned work. These libraries get thousands of whining emails from wannabees - be creative and send them something throught the post that passes the "bin test" like a calendar or oversized postcard.

If Jesus Christ owned a rolling road and it was calibrated and tested by the three wise men you'd still get some jerk asking you to back up your figures, that's t'internet for ya

Stink, which rig is it that you bought? Is it the Pro Mount SM8 by any chance?

Short shots.

Heavy camera, that rig would happily take some sh*t under pressure!

Take a look at the photo again, it's not a heavy camera, it's a DSLR pointing down at the bonnet.
The size of the rig is to make sure that it's absolutely solid at speed (probably 40mph+), this looks like it's rigged for video (with the DSLR), so it'll have to keep the camera still while filming. Whereas Stink's shots are stills and mostly shot at low speeds.
