Might be worth trying to get someone with lsd so you can drive it first, i've heard mixed reviews.

But yeah just remember Less weight/More Power/Transferring onto road

250bhp is a general concensus on fwd as a pointless to exceed unless running an lsd ect..

Some sticky Yoko's up front im sure would be a nice edition, but expensive and they're about as hard as butter.

bottom end is supposed to be good for 350bhp, but bare in mind the 1.8T has a habit of spitting valves when revved hard past 7k which is where you hit peak power with big turbos

would uprated valve springs cure this or is it a case of them dancing on the bonnet regardless of what springs you use?.

Uprated valve's and springs and titanium retainers will see you good to rev to 8K  :smiley:

Depends how mad you wanna go, i spent the best part of 4k strengthening my engine and gearbox.
