I bought the same mats albeit with white piping for fitting next spring from a VW dealer on eBay for £42 - think they’ll go nicely with mine being a white car - definitely feel plusher than the existing mats, shag pile is back for 2018 

You could always get them and two red sharpie and save your self a small fortune

These are the standard luxury mats, generic for all Golf models and as you say are around the same price as standard mats and are much more readily available!

Have you got a CS?  If not, try grabbing a registration off an ebay for sale one, then ask the dealer to input that reg into the system to order a set of mats?
