Hi there,

Need to find a roll cage for my 1996 Golf Gti 16v track car.

Tried Ebay and the seller of the only one on there has never answered my e-mails and will not confirm if it is in stock in the UK or when I might get it.

Tried Demon Tweeks, they were supposed to be getting some in in early December but when the lorry arrived from OMP there was only one on it and it was pre-sold.

Can't afford a custom made one as only got around £500-£600 to spend. OMP do an off the shelf one but can't seem to find anyone with one in stock.

Got a track day at the end of January and really want if fitted by then.

Does anyone know where I may be able to get one from ?

Regards

Tim

Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.

Holiday cottages on the Isle of Wight for 2-10 people? PM me.

I can fit a Mk3 roll cage for £600, the car needs to be stripped on delivery though.

Ian,

Thats a tempting offer. Can the dashboard and front seats still be in place or do they need to be out ?
My car is stripped from the front seats back so may be more or less ready for the cage.

Whereabouts in the UK are you ?

Regards

Tim

Thats supply and fit....

The dash and seats need to be out because it passes through the dashboard and it is welded together in situ.  It needs to be empty inside to get access and to be able to weld it together.

How much to supply a CAGE for a mk2  ?  6 point and multipoint.  also what matrial and weight are the cages ?

would i be correct in thinking that the cages are of certified desing and would be no problem using it in motorsport as long as the welding is done by a coded welder ?
all the VW's have gone bar 1.
