After some advice on fitting sensors for oil pressure/oil temp gauges.
will i need a oil filter sandwich plate connect the sensors for the gauges or is there somewhere else to connect?
-
You can go straight into the original oil pressure port - Have to remove your OEM one though
-
Can you fit both of the sensors in that area?? Been looking at some bits and pieces and found that there is meant to be 2 threaded drillings on the filter mount or is it a case of getting an adaptor with more thatn one hole and doing it that way as i would guess the car would have probelms if you disconnected the OEM sender.
The gauges are the ones that you sold to MK1macca Jordy

I got both these gauges running. Had to buy a sandwich plate and run them from there.
-
Where from and how much?
-
Pretty sure the 5th one down is what i got but depends on the size of the fitments to your gauges that your paperwork should tell you mate.

Not sure which of these to go for :undecided:
Does anyone know the thread of the standard drillings by the oil filter, i'm sure i read somewhere that they are m10x1, as most of the stuff i have found so far has been 1/8 NPT
-
Anyone got any answers for above.
-
For the price difference, id use the sandwhich plate.

Cheers Jordy, i was thinking that, i guess not many people are running oil pressure/temp gauges then
