Title: Coilover suspension
Post by: S11EPS on 18 September 2003, 07:27
Went out yesterday in a mates octavia vRS that has coilovers on it, and 'Oh my God' did it handle.  :o

Seriously, I have been out in some very quick and tidy-handling front wheel drive motors, (most of which wear a Type R badge) and this thing made them look like invlaid carriages. I never thought that grip like that was possible in a front wheel drive car that is pushing out (now) in excess of 250bhp.

My point is, bearing in mind that the Octavia is, essentially, the same chassis as the Golf/A3 etc etc, is anyone out there running a Mk 4 on coilovers that can tell me if I'll achieve the same results?
