WAX suggestions for my black golf 3....

Dan, what do you prefer using, hard or soft waxes? I personally prefer the soft, just wondered though.

2 months after waxing, then some Dodo Juice Spray Wax (the red one I forget it's name)

i like to layer up with hard wax as it lasts longer and use a soft wax for the final layer, seems to give a slicker wet finish compaired to the hard waxs.

i will do

my car is in pretty good shape as i keep on top of it (not easy when i get no sleep most weekends with working in the clubs)
so its never too hard to do....
although
really need someone to get rid of the swirls with a rotary , got a mark where the number plate has been resting agains the tailgate since 1993, and now iv got my private plate to put on (shorter plate) i wanna get rid of the marks, tried a bit of the chemical guys scratch B-GONE But it says its to be used with certain pads to work right (it has started to remove the marks tho)

plate is 16" long rather than 20.5", so its not too much to sort, the marks wont even show up on camera...



any other suggestions???


but ill upload pics once if have the wax and have given it a good going over, not sure when it will be mind

Have a look at Meguiar's Ultimate Compound, a great product to get rid of swirls by hand.

usually stay well clear of meguiars stuff.

will most probably order the blue dodo stuff off you anyhow matey
