HTHS cannot be determined from other oil specs as such, it has to be measured with a viscometer or rather a rheometer... So if unsure just buy one (they are >30k though).
Joking aside, hths is usually in spec sheet (maybe labelled as visco at 150), along with visco at 40 and 100 °C, TBN, pour point, etc
Google usually does a good job locating those, otherwise email the manufacturer or distributor.
If uncertain what to buy, make sure it's ACEA A3/B3 or A3/B4 and then look for VW 502.00 (petrol), if it has that it's usually already useable, better still if it actually has MB 229.5, that's currently the most strict norm when it comes to cars (except 229.51 which only matters if you have a particulate filter). If you are running a Diesel the equvialent would be 505.00 (but LOADS fulfill this old standard, so not really an indicator), or 505.01 if it's a Pumpe-Düse = usually refered to as PD TDI.
Oils with VW502.00 usually are 5w40, 5w30, 0w40, a very few 0w30 (but then these aren't usually LL2) and even a few good 10w40s.
