Title: Whats it worth?

Last night me and the missus were chatting and might be chopping my golf in for an Audi A3 1.8T Sport. nice.

As such i might be selling my golf (it might not happen but i have to work out the cash thing). Now chatting to my mates we have a disagreement about the value of mine. Can anyone (disregards parkers/what car or even glasses as they dont seem very representative of real prices) let me know what they think the golf is worth:

VW Golf GTI 2.0 8v. 1997 R plate. Full VW SH. Aircon. 63,000 miles. 2 previous owners. immaculate condition. full mot. Red 3 door. totally standard.

I wont trade it as i intend to sell it privately.

how do mate
just brought a 97 /r 8v gti  70,000 miles paid ?3.900 they wanted ?4.400 hope it helps
