Will HIC charge me to change cars
« on: 20 April 2009, 23:56 »
My car is going into the garage for a week or so, and will be off the road, so want to change the insurance over to another car for a week to drive that, then change it back once the car is back on the road.

Will i get charged for changing it over, then changing it again? Havnt ever changed it before?

Just its going to have a few bits touched up, but dont want too have no car and be stuck in the house for a week! lol

Cheers

Lazy for not phoning i know. lol

yep, they are meant to charge a  £25 admin fee each time - you thought of taking out a short term policy instead, might be cheaper

I believe they charge £25 to change cars but might be worth asking them 1st.

Cool beans, cheers for that guys.

£50 is worth it, to be without a car while my car becomes awesome. lol
