Newb checking in
« on: 01 March 2017, 00:18 »
Thought i'd sign up and introduce myself here, been lurking for a few weeks! Just picked up my Mk7 GTI today, 3 years old with 19,000 on the clock. Spent the whole day driving around; absolutely in love with it!

Tornado red mk7 GTI (no PP), 3door, manual, standard except for heated leather seats. Wasn't really fussed about most of the extras so was happy enough with the standard car. Going to be getting some better summer tyres for the 18" austin alloys, as the ones that it came with aren't great, and keep a look out for some 17" monzas from the mk5 GTI to run winter tyres on.

Welcome, beautiful part of the country

Wanted to go for a drive after picking it up so thought Loch Lomond would be good enough! Some of the roads around there are great for driving on but some stretches have some pretty bad tarmac so its a bit of a mixed bag!
