One move I keep coming back to is moving the classifieds out to a totally separate bit of software that does have more of the features we might want - templates, reputation etc. Whilst it may mean everyone having to register a new account it might work well in the longer term.

we've only been talking about it since stonor park 2005 :grin:

think r32oc/ed 38 rules on classifieds isnt to harsh..
how hard is it to just stick a piece of paper with name and date etc at least you know it be a genuine article for sale

What if the person who is selling items include their eBay names on the classified ads, so you can easily check their feedback score ? You can then email them through eBay to make sure they are who they say they are.

Once a quarter we should arrange a forum meet.

I won't be advertising on ED38 any more as I refuse to put my phone number up on for sale ads when anyone can do what they like with it. I'll give it to potential buyers if needed and I'd even give my address. The photo idea I don't have a problem with at all.
