Doesnt it feel so good to fix a rattle yourself....there was one that has been driving me mad for the last few days...turned out to be a loose bolt and washer in the panel at the side of the dash where the fuses are .....wooo hooo ....made my evening..was almost about to book it in..

too right. i fixed my ticking dashboard and i am so pleased with myself. although i can't take all the credit, my other half can now also dismantle and rebuild a golf dashboard faster than a vw tech.
