[Help] Best option (KKK or Garrett)

Hi all

I have a 1.8T 20v AGU golf mk4...

...I've already change some parts such as FMIC fpr 4bar (bosch oem), Forge DV007p decat etc. Now i have little problem, i don't know how to decide if i swap the turbo for the k03s (180hp version) or a Garrett T28 m24 (nissan 200sx). I have both turbos here, and both are ok...

What would you guys do in this case? What can i expect from the garrett (hp/nm)?

The garrett will require a different manifold and downpipe and probably custom oil lines. The KKK will go straight on as long as its a k03s or a ko4-001. Neither will have any benefit without a map and setting up, if anything, itll be worse

I know i'll need the remap, but i need to decide first wich one i'll choose to upgrade the old k03. I am aware about the custom manifold, but if the garrett gives more power then the k03s, i'll choose it.

obviously garrett is much better turbo what T28 is the 200sx one as they have many different ones fitted..

The garrett will need a lot more to see the advantages..

Custom map
bigger injectors
maybe LCR fuel pump..
3" MAF sensor
manifold
custom downpipe
scat rods

But you could easily see 300bhp with a decent T28
Mk4 Golf GTI anniversary and mk6 golf tdi :)

Thank you for your answers guys. I won't go that far (probably) talking about the rods offcourse. About the injectors...
