afternoon all
need some assistance or at best, information....... running a nice mk 4 150pd gti. only thing is, and its a small niggle, the car makes a creaking/intermittant knocking noise in the door area when under braking.
been back to silverlink vw in newcawtle and took a test run with their head technician - nothing heard. anyhow, they greased the door locks (apparently a common problem?? - you tell me?) and it was better, for a time.?
so, any ideas folks? still under warranty at the moment, they've already replaced the radiator fans with their dodgy relay. other than that - what a f**king hot motor!!
