Title: MPG and AVERAGE SPEED NOT WORKING ON MFA!

i have a mk2 golf gti 8v 1991 - everything works on my MFA, but the mpg and average speed - it always show '---' - how do i fix this?? - was thinking to change the speedo-distance sensor?? - help

I had same issue.  I ended buying a spare set of clocks that had MFA bleed with the intention of swapping stuff about.  I haven't done it yet and to be honest I have learnt to live without it.
