Just for reference really, but I measured the volume of mine before....84db at idle about 3ft from the tail pipe. I'll get a reading from inside the car later.

Have you done any research into silencers that could be added in? There's a couple of Jetex ones I was looking at but not sure what size will fit and where?

And some more readings, all taken inside the car....

On idle - 65dB

70mph/3000rpm - 75dB

'Booting it' - peak of 85dB

I was keeping an eye on it as safely as I could and normal driving saw 70-80dB

Yeah that's what I was thinking of doing. What kind of silencer you going for?
