Hi guys,
Got my new gtd today.  Really chuffed with it so far. 
Still learning how to use all the tech etc.

I see you can display various parameters on the centre instrument cluster display (oil temp, avg mpg, speed mph etc) 
I was wondering if there was anyway the Discover media system when in Nav mode could display the current vehicle speed at all?

No you can't.

It can display the speed limit for the road you are currently on (and you can hope that its correct) but the vehicle speed is only available on the mfd between the clocks.

Yes you can. You need Driving School Mode to be enabled though with VCDS
