Germans generally aren’t funny, especially up in the north where they’re referred to as “fish heads” by the southerners due to their dour demeanour.

Maybe they should do an ad with a load of petrol car owners reserving their spot at the petrol pumps with beach towels at 4am and then having the GTD driving past the garage at speed, blowing all the towels away in its wake?  :whistle:

And yes, the throttle really was that sensitive in those cars! I had to resort to electronic modifications to get my mk5 and mk6s to drive like that!!!

I see all those adverts have the GTD as having red calipers!! I wonder if that is standard in Germany then?
