Bloody Golf getting in the way of the correct type of vehicle.

More pics of that needed as I'm thinking of having my wheels black. The stupid chromey type finish on my Ultimate are corroding quite badly.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

Beauty before brawn!

Here’s some Amarok porn.  Not new pics but some from when it first graced the driveway, and probably the last time it was properly clean!

I like the black wheel on that, but am not sure about on mine, what with my shiny side bars' 'roll' bar, rear bumper and silver mirrors. Plus being one of just 500, should I change it?

The black wheel works on it as it’s not got all the other chrome bits.  It’s a 2104 Dark Label Limited Edition (300 units) so hence the black wheels.  But they are horrific for dirt!

I think you should keep yours oem Simon, especially if it’s a limited edition.  I actually like the chrome a lot and find the all black can look a bit gloomy especially when dirty, which it usually is!

Managed to give the car a pre-service clean yesterday while the clouds were out, although it was still far hotter than ideal. Gone in this morning for it's 120K DSG service .

Dan, that looks just stunning.  Seeing such a beautifully kept Mk6 always gives me a twinge in a way the mk7 never does.  Lovely.

Gave it its first wash for about six weeks yesterday. Had to soak a few bug splats but seem to have got away with any etching. Must have been eco bugs !!
