Removing an airbag
« on: 03 September 2007, 12:23 »
I'm soon going to remove the passenger-side airbag from my Mk3 VR6. (replacing it with a glovebox).  I'm going to have a rear-facing child seat there in a few months so I can't have a working airbag anyway, so I thought I'd just stick a glovebox in.

Now, I know just removing the airbag will result in the Airbag light staying lit so I need to replace it with something, I guess a resistor of some description?

Anyone know what rating I should use?  or is it something more complicated that just a resistor?
Sold the VR6... Now officially An Old Man With A Passat Estate.  At least it's a 1.8T
