Hi guys

What about a rear number plate light as I smoothed my boot and shifted me number plate but I don't want big ugly lights all over the number plate any ideas on the legalities not so bad in summer. :D

The number plate will have to have some kind of illumination otherwise they'll fail that deffo. They fail them if one of the two number plate lights is out if memory serves me correct because I think that happened to me years ago.

How about black & silver plates? I've had one on the front since may and haven't been pulled for it yet (touch wood, ooh thats nice ),  am i going to have greif when i try and get my MOT in February? i don't want to take it off

Black and silver plates are ok..................................if your car is registered before 1973 !

Just take them off and put them back on later.
......now officially dubless.

RYOUNG - My grandads 12 year old merc (owned from new) has only ever had one fuse and one bulb changed, and there was a problem with the alarm once but they just had to reset it or something  - They don't make em like they used to do they

You can always try and get away with it, depends on how well you know the MOT tester I guess. I've got black and silver plates on my camper but its a 1971.
