Done this mod today following the vwroc guide and it seems to have worked a charm, rattle gone. Only prob, I forgot to mark the position of the wipers and not sure I've put the passenger one back in the right place. Should it cover the vin or sit above it?

Thanks for that. The one on the instructions is in a slightly different place so I guess they might all be different.

Is unplugging an easy job, would like to try it without the noise as I reckon it makes the car sound like a diesel.

Turn it off with vcds or obd11.
TCR, Pure Grey, DCC, Dynaudio and Climate Screen.

I’ve turned mine off through the car mode ‘individual’ settings. Set everything else the way you want I.e. so it’s mstly sport and turn the sound to ‘normal’. Works fine for me now.

Not sure where you are but plenty of members on here will do it for you.
