Poor machine polishing
« on: 22 June 2017, 20:44 »
Hi everyone have had my GTI about 2 weeks now

And I have noticed the drivers door looks very dull , almost like it's been machine polished but very poorly .

Does anyone have a similar issues and know anywhere recommended for machine polishing in the Wolverhampton / West Midlands area

Many thanks in advance !

Hi. Have you got any pictures at all? If the colour is just a little dull, I would recommend meguiar's ultimate compound, followed by meguiar's ultimate polisha and then a wax on top. You can apply either of the first two products by hand or machine. Even just by hand you should be able to get a good finish without having to pay for a full correction detail.
