I quite liked my rented Panda we had in Greece (Ithaca) a few years back. It was one of the older models, a bit beaten up but it was pretty game on the hills and very comfortable if basic (which is fine by me). Only thing was the gearknob kept coming off in my hand. Not too bad until one time it shot off whilst on my own and landed in the rear footwell! Following year we had a Micra and that was a pathetic, tinny, characterless piece of crap.
