All,

Sorry for yet another corrosion/white worm alloy wheel thread.  I just wanted to ask though - I am considering going down a two tone paint route - i.e. a black gunmetal on the inside and a silver on the face to replicate the machined diamond cut finish (GTD MK6 Golf - Charleston Alloys).  I am sure this has been done by quite a few forum members - does anyone have any opinions on it?  Does it look OK?

This is the worst

Other ones are mainly like this,

So maybe not too bad and I should be waiting until next winter when I put my winter wheels back on.

Also - I assume even if you do run winter wheels (hence saving the diamond finish from the salt) diamond refurb still is not recommended?

Thanks All!

The diamond cut is not the problem in itself, it's the clear top coat that the weather/salt/stone chips/kerbs attack!
