I had my wifes gtd wheel refurbed when we bought it through the garage as it had been scratched .
About 9 months later the white worm returned and it was sent back and re done , I have recently noticed the wheel has the white worm again, I said to the manager at the garage and they said they would call the refurb company and see if they would do it again but haven't called me but I will go in and see what they suggest as the warranty on the car stops soon .
Would I have a case to ask for a new wheel as surely the corrosion will be in the wheel and keeping refurbing the wheel is a waste of time and even though it was scratched when bought surely VW should be responsible with the anti corrosion warranty .
Any advice greatly received .
