Hi guys have carbon steel GTD bird pooped on car,even though removed quick still can see marring on body work any ideas to remove marks tried normal wax.

Heat gun or hair drier then a little bit of polish should bring them out mate.

I would get your car detailed properly too. Saves a load of hassle come wash time and even stubborn stains are easy to remove.

Yep, stains like birdie po*ps are acidic so you need to get rid asap, before it starts setting in and affecting paint

Thanks guys I have detailed  and waxed car just recently, so see how it goes seem to be on bird poop watch more than I was with my white scirocco .

Birds just love dark cars.  Mines a seagull sh!t magnet.  If there are 50 cars in a car park, guaranteed mine will be the one that gets it  :angry:

I always carry a bottle of quick detailer and a microfibre in the car so I can get it off ASAP.  Polishing should get rid if the etching is not too bad.
