My mate has an ex-demo with all the toys a Mk7 16 Plate GTD 190PS manual gearbox which was sweet and he gave me go of driving.
I loved it and that's what made me go for the GTI.
I don't cover more than 6,000 miles in a year so petrol was a no brainer, actually I have never owned a diesel car in my life and I am aged 67, still a bit of a boy racer in me
I didn't test drive the GTI Performance because the garage didn't have one but I tested one of their GTD DSG, I loved the DSG.
I own an Audi A4 and owned an A3 previously and I recently test drove an Audi S3 which was fast, actually too fast for me
