what do you mean by pitted mate?
when you rub your hand over them they feel abit bumpy instead of smooth

i have been told to use brasso first to see how they come up

the above for £40 a feel sounds better.. hand polishing is a waste or time and effort when you can send to someone get a better uniformed finish for not a lot of money !!

pitted means the brake dust has actually eaten into the metal and if rubbed down by hand would take a long time and probably a lot of different grades paper.. a machine can do it much quicker and a much more uniformed polished finish..

im not sure what to do with them
some people have told me to get them rubbed down and sprayed but then i wouldn't know what colours look good
think i would like to get them back to being shiny and keep the centers black
i would like to do it myself, but have been told to use some autosol to try and polish it up now
i dont think its the brake dust i think its just weathered
looks like my moms greenhouse was lol

notice youre local

try the wheel specialist/labtap in erdington, or prestige wheels a little down the road from there by showcase cinema

prestige do polishing, laptap do everything, but they arent cheap

yeah mate i think im going to give it ago myself first and if i carnt get a good result get them done at a refurb place, and thanks for the tips :)
i have heard good stuff about Britemax EASY CUT
and i seen some videos on youtube and it looks quality stuff
the vids show that it fixes things that are in worser condition that mine

if i carnt get them sorted do any of you guys know how long it takes a refurb place to sort the wheels out?
or a rough guess

No offense, but they look like cheap anodized rims to me, and you may struggle to get a decent polished finish, without an awful lot of work!
