i`ve done the same on mine and think it looks much better, vw should have done it from the start 

people would have just colour coded them then!

some would have, but looking at the votes so far, most would have prefered it black..

I think the badge would be better if it stayed silver but the badge surround was black...

not keen on the JOM valance myself either but then that's me. I think a set of proper black headlights such as FKs or Depo's would look spot on with a black grille.
