I along with 2 other mates will be taking our 172 shed for a thrash for a reasonable £169 :grin:

It's sat in my garage waiting for someone to buy it (free plug :lipsrsealed: http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=182957.0) as I got something French (traitor I know, lol) - so it needs a roll cage before I'm going anywhere near a track, haha.

what you got matey?? you joining us on the 172 front?? :wink: tbh for the money a little frenchy costs to put on track/replace parts you wouldnt want to stay in a vag uncase you hurt it.

Yeah :cool: Seems pretty good so far, last owner spent a load of money on it so I get the benefits for less work and money (lazy I know but I spend too much time at work to do it myself :( ). Hopefully see you out and about again, I'll get some tips off you about how to do the polycarb windows ;) haha

Yeah I'd love to! Cage seems to be getting delayed so might be tight to get it ready in time but I'll see what I can do!

With regards to the clios, I have just put mine away in the garage. Have a 52 172 Cup with a few little mods on. Great fun for so few quid. If I don't sell it before hand (hoping wifey don't force me to!) I'll be sorting it out for track days in the summer. Give it a good thrashing for sure - they are definately what I'd call a rewarding drive. Many, many, many smiles to the gallon :grin:

Ah good stuff, make sure you keep it! I'm up in Bamber Bridge by the way, if you ever need another pair of hands to help work on it (I'm not much good but I can lift and carry stuff :P haha) just gimme a shout :smiley:

Couldnt agree more mate!! doubt you will get a car for as cheap and have as much fun out of it!! We love ours, it ha suprised many evo's scooby's and coswroths. it is a fantastic machine!!
