Try the coil packs, could also be the maf sensor

try unplugging the maf sensor

Get it plugged into vag com or a code reader

Could be a number of things most probably the maf or a coil pack. Get this to find out for sure and so you dont end up wasting money

if you unplug the maf and the car runs ok but down on power then its the maf but as said vag com is better
