Title: mines a 1.8 20v non turbo. limited edition need help!!

the car sounds like its blowing but its not and judders under light acceleration and splutters and mis firess wats the problem wit it!!??

Try the coil packs, could also be the maf sensor

try unplugging the maf sensor

Could be a number of things most probably the maf or a coil pack. Get this to find out for sure and so you dont end up wasting money   :wink:

if you unplug the maf and the car runs ok but down on power then its the maf but as said vag com is better

well its the same engine as my gti and i would say the limited edition item is the engine and the lack of power. :laugh:

Glad some one asked cos I was wondering!!! The only limited run models were the colour concept cars in Yellow, Black, Blue or Red with matching leather Recaro interiors!  :cool:
