vag com which is best i need it but dont really want to spend 100 pound on it  but its a little confusing reading about what does what on ebay ??

yea i have a hand held and iv got to say its great for codes and all vw group but i need it for changing my clocks and coding new keys to the car and hopefully one day doing auto windows close and miles to empty ect

cant do auto windows on vagcom you need vag commander i think

When you say this I hope you don't mean clocking lol and just mean trip comp... :wink:

With regards to above you can't change anything to do with clocks on a mk3 with vag com u need vag tacho for that and if u need to do keys you need the skc codes so that's why vag tacho is needed
