swapping injectors

do the injectors need coding or can they just be swapped easily?

this is a 2.0 8v mk4

it would need mappping in.. no point though in my opinion unless you have good breathing mods such as ITB`s..

Its not for performance gain,
I suspect one of the injectors on my dads golf 2.0 is leaking.
no.4 sparkplug died. we replaced it with a new one. we pulled it out again after 50miles and it was wet and smelt strongly of petrol.
The co level is also high, I did think it was the coolant temp sensor but not so sure now

ah, in that case then yes... just swap over
