Title: New mk4 GTI 1.8 t owner needs help

Afternoon I have recently got hold of a 2000 mk4 GTI 1.8 turbo and I can get my scanner to connect to the car. It powers up but won’t connect I have tried two different scanners any help would be greatly appreciated
