Thruxton Track Day
« on: 30 May 2007, 19:06 »
Just got back from a track morning at Thurxton, my first one. What can I say, just amazing. So much fun.

Unfortunately it was wet, but that wasn't to much of a problem. On my last lap in the Formula Renault I really went for it and spun off, did about a 540° spin lol. Great buzz and highly recommend anyone who hasn't been on one to go on one. For those not so bright ones out there I drove a Porsche Cayman & Formula Renault.

Having a word about my spin off, I quote "Are you drving any more cars today?" , "No", "Oh, thats good then" lol

I cant for the life of me remeber the instructor but a guy called Anthony took me around before hand in the Mazda MPS and then a guy called Tony took me in a fast lap in a RX-8 PZ (which is lovely by the way).

Its got to be the formula Renault, they where soooo much fun and you feel you can really kane it because you don't have some bloke sitting next to you. I got the CD through the post the week after, check me out in the Renault.
