Gearbox oil change
« on: 21 July 2017, 21:29 »
Hi

The Git is going in for a service early Sept.
It's a 2012 and I've owned it from new. It has 26k miles, will be 27k at service time.

As it's 5 years old-and I'm gonna keep it long term-is it worth changing the gearbox oil? That thinking about mechanical sympathy really......

I wouldn't on a manual with that mileage unless your shift is playing up.

Maybe at 60-80k or 10 years, not really worth doing this early.
