Title: Where to get touch up paint
Post by: Sequence on 21 February 2017, 11:17
Some inconsiderate asshat decided to bash my mothers car the other day and has taken a small amount of paint with them ofcouce no note.

The colour is VW Amaryllis Red LA3S i have tried getting the paint from VW but they dont do that colour anymore i have seen some cheep sellers on ebay but not sure if i can trust that paint.

Any suggestion would be great.
Thanks

Seriously? A 2012 paint colour and the main dealer can't help?

How about

Nah that can't be right!!

I remember when I had my MK4 I got a touch pen from the dealers and the MK4 was well out of production......

Methinks your parts department needs a bit of education........

Try calling a couple of dealer parts departments..... They may even post it out

Try chipex. They offer touch up paints and they can match most factory colors.
