Washed mine again and replaced front LED indicator bulbs for the original bulbs.
Moved the brighter bulbs to the reverse lights.
Fitted my private plate and went for a quick cruise :)

Yeah well that's what I thought but oh well I'll get it sorted when I have a free weekend, unless it grows on me

As pointed out previously the brighter LED bulbs aren't as good as the original bulbs for reflective light output, so definitely keep this in mind if your considering buying them.
I tested mine again last night and the LED bulbs do not even reach the ground infront of the car.
The original bulbs yellow glow hits the ground and are why brighter.
I've moved my LED bulbs to the reverse lights. :)

err ok instructions are:

Go to Halfords, buy a hammerite straight to rust pain of your choosing, I went for black as light colours will just look mucky fast imo.

Think they might even do a glow in the dark paint. If you are lazy, you can get it in a spray but this doesnt last as long as the paint in a tub. Stuffs like tar

Get home, jack your car up, take your wheel off being extra careful as they stratch easy. Make sure the hub is clean and dry.

Then paint, or spray, the first coat. You need to leave it about 30mins before applying the next coat.

So with your 30mins you can either jack the other side up and take another one off and paint or if you only have one jack i suggest you take your wheel inside and give it a good old clean and protection, i used some Supagard stuff that came free with my last leon (you will note that Autoglym didnt give you one in your pack if you got one) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SUPAGARD-ALLOY-WHEEL-PROTECTOR-SPRAY-400ml-AEROSOL-/141153390836?_trksid=p2054897.l4275#ht_916wt_1170 but others are available.

You could also put some back to black on the tyres but I made lunch instead.

After you have put your second coat on, put the wheel back on, and then repeat on the other wheels :)

I would put up some before and after shots but I only just took the pics so if you want to see what it looked like before just go look at your own wheels now, no doubt they will be rusting up nicely, not summat you want to see on a new car!

Hi all,

Just added my first post to the new arrivals section...but thought I'd add that I've upgraded the cornering lights to this post to tie in with others.  I went with Osram Cool Blue Hyper (around £20 on Amazon).  To aid those of you who've not upgraded yet I've posted a video on YouTube.  These bulbs are very bright white and compliment the xenons really well.

http://youtu.be/um-7zazGRAQ

Now strictly speaking these bulbs aren't street legal, but as the cornering lights are only on for a short time and when you reverse I figured it would be ok.  Also, they're about the same brightness as the xenons so don't standout too much in the dark

I haven't noticed my fogs come on when I reverse. Did in my Leon but not on the Gti, is it just me?
