Lowering / Alloys & Tyres
«

Hi All,
I want to lower my 89 8v 5 door GTi by 40mm... I also want to buy some new alloys for it, and am thinking about some 16" ones... Would these be OK, after lowering it by 40mm? Also, what size tyres would be best on the 16" alloys?
Thanks,
ajh

go to a decent alloy wheel dealer and they should either know for certain or let you trial fit them.
205/45s are the norm on 16's. 195/45s are also an option.
