Fitted a new set of Bosch Aero front wipers @ £18 rather than the £46 quoted by the garage when in for service! Really easy to do... surprisingly  Not used yet will see how they work tomorrow.

Yeah the Bosch Aerotwin's are a decent upgrade from stock. Well worth doing for less than £20. I've also upgraded the rear wiper too for a Bosch one. For £5 couldn't say no

I've just fitted Bosch Aerotwins to my Velle, Tig and Rocco. They seem to be pretty cheap at the moment for some reason.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

That’s a good price, where did you buy them from at that price please.

Thanks for the reminder! Mine aren't great and winters coming.

Found some on amazon, they were £18.74 and £5.84.

I’ve had these on my Amazon wish list for a while. Are they really worth replacing?

I did mine a few weeks ago. Absolutely worth doing for the cost. If you have a Nectar card you can convert points into an eBay voucher and get them even cheaper.

Just got to work, display showing 40.3mpg over 21 miles of mainly b road with a little town driving.
Occasionally the traffic thins enough for me to enjoy a fast bend or two. Well, very rarely at that time actually.
Why do people complain of thin body panels in the mk7?
Make them thinner, I say

I've noted a drop off in economy with the lower temperatures lately. About 5mpg less. And it's not even that cold yet!
